- Develop an in-depth understanding of in-house models in the area of hydrology, fate and transport modelling, and human and ecological risk assessment
- Set-up, calibrate and validate models for various projects for mining, nuclear and other industry clients
- Participate in model quality assurance and verification activities
- Synthesize data and interpret model results;
- Participate in report preparation; and
- Work with other innovative thinkers to continue to develop models in-house.
- Mater's Degree (M.Sc., M.A.Sc. or M. Eng.) with 3 years of work experience or graduated with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with 5 years of work experience;
- Strong foundation in mathematics;
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written);
- Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines; and
- Willingness to learn and take on challenging tasks.
