The opportunity:Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Structural (Buildings) Engineer-in-Training to join our team in our Vancouver office. In this role you will be responsible for a variety range of project delivery types, material selections, and sectors.What we offer:

What you’ll do:
  • Strengthen and grown your abilities through a range of project delivery types, material selections, and sectors.
  • Develop a career path focused on:
  • technical leadership
  • project management
  • client management, or
  • a combination based on your career aspirations and qualifications.
Does this sound like you?
  • Undergraduate degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university.
  • Registered, or eligible for registration, as an Engineer-in-Training with EGBC.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in consulting engineering is an asset.
  • Familiar with structural analysis programs such as SAP 2000 or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of local building codes and Canadian design standards.
  • Ability to read, interpret and create drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to compose technical memorandum and technical report with minimal supervision.
  • Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • General knowledge of construction methods and project delivery processes.
  • Site experience is an asset.
