- Creating and managing short- and long-term maintenance plans within SAP for camp and accommodation facilities, surface buildings and infrastructure assets
- Developing detailed job plans including labour requirements, materials, tools, safety controls, permits, drawings, and access needs
- Maintaining and optimizing preventative maintenance programs in SAP, including task lists, frequencies and maintenance strategies
- Supporting weekly and monthly scheduling processes by ensuring work orders in SAP are fully planned, ready and prioritized appropriately
- SAP Work Management
- Converting notifications into well-defined SAP work orders with clear scope, job steps and required resources
- Ensuring work orders are execution-ready, including material staging, permits, isolation/LOTO requirements, technical documentation, and contractor needs
- Managing and analyzing SAP backlog, ensuring appropriate priority settings, asset hierarchy accuracy, and timely updates to work order status
- Using SAP reporting tools to support KPI tracking, backlog health reviews, schedule compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining and updating SAP equipment master data to support accurate planning and asset life cycle management
- Working closely with Supervisors, Superintendents, Health, Safety, Environmental, Supply Chain and Contractors to ensure efficient execution
- Leading daily and weekly planning meetings
- Communicating job requirements, risk controls, and sequencing clearly through SAP documentation and planning packages
- Identifying material needs early and creating SAP reservations, purchase requisitions, and pick lists
- Tracking delivery status through SAP and adjusting plans based on material availability
- Providing labour and cost estimates using SAP data and support forecasting for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Integrating all required safety procedures, hazard controls, and regulatory requirements into SAP job plans and preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensuring documentation and asset records in SAP support compliance with inspection, environmental and life-safety standards
- Promoting safe execution through detailed planning, risk awareness, and thorough field verification
- Technical diploma, trade certificate, or equivalent experience in facilities, mechanical, electrical or building systems
- At least 3 years’ experience in maintenance planning, facility maintenance, or site services
- Strong proficiency in SAP PM/EAM for work management, PM optimization, task list creation, material reservations, and reporting
- Understanding of work management fundamentals (planning, scheduling, estimating and asset management)
- Open Pit common core modules would be considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Possess a valid Canadian driver’s license and clear driver’s abstract
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in an environment of change; must be creative and flexible
- Experience working in remote, industrial, or mining camp environments
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, boilers, fire protection, electrical distribution)
- Familiarity with shutdown/outage planning and contractor coordination
- Role is a 4-on / 3-off rotation (day shift only)
- Position is subject to callouts
- Pay or shift range: $87,750 CAD to $133,850 CAD
