- Ensure that all business activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with ATS code of business conduct.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety rules and procedures.
- Comply with all ATS Policies / Procedures / Instructions as per the ATS REM Quality Systems.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed in accordance with the ATS Confidentiality Policy.
- Lead or Participate in Continual Improvement Activities
- Assist Director, Quality in completing tasks to ensure product quality is consistent to design level, as intended.
- Complete auditing / inspection functions and applicable documentation as specified on the control plan(s), checklists, rework or other instructions.
- Ensure deviation process is followed if parts or assemblies do not conform to customer specifications.
- Assist in the completion and review of Part FAI’s.
- Comply with specified lab instructions and activities.
- Provide support to production activities.
- Generate and log serial numbers, as required by the program.
- Audit quality documentation at stations to ensure continued compliance with the Quality Systems.
- Collecting and reporting on Certificates of Compliance (C of C’s), as required.
- Completion of SPC charts, as appropriate.
- Assist in the execution of Measurement Systems Analysis, as required.
- Setup of inspection equipment as required.
- Administrative duties (filing, photocopying…).
- Report problems associated with calibration status of measuring equipment to Quality Technician.
- Monitors and ensures compliance to quality standards.
- Perform other duties as related to those outlined above, or which may be completed based on individual skill or experience
- Quality Auditors must possess a grade 12 education or the equivalent. Exceptional math skills are an asset, as are Quality courses completed through a community college.
- Knowledge of fundamentals of quality assurance program.
- Knowledge of SPC (statistical process controls an asset).
- Knowledge of Blueprint Reading and basic GD&T (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing).
- Must be able to use measuring equipment such as Vernier / Micrometers, Optical Comparator, etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office necessary.
