- Our Client has a key player in the EMS industry for 25 years- they are in a high growth phase and looking to bring on a Business Development Manager. They have been acknowledged for growth, innovation, and contributions to the manufacturing sector and had been recognized by top Aerospace companies for outstanding products.
- The Business Development Manager will focus on developing new accounts in the Aerospace, Military and Defense OEM markets (Canada and NE US). It is and will remain an individual contributor role.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to accelerate market growth and profitability.
- Lead efforts to identify and onboard new customers in the Defense, Aerospace, and Military markets
- Play a key role in supporting mergers and acquisitions that align with long-term business objectives.
- Design and implement targeted marketing initiatives to generate demand and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate on the creation of persuasive proposals and quoting tools that drive customer engagement and protect margins.
- Manage and expand strategic customer accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Partner and collaborate to deliver accurate, competitive pricing and proposals.
- Lead the development of high-impact presentations, proposals, and RFP responses tailored to customer needs.
- Oversee the full sales cycle— from prospecting to quoting— ensuring consistent execution and follow-through.
- A strong background in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), Contract Manufacturing (CM), or electronics OEM environments is required.
- 10+ years of proven success in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry, with deep expertise selling into Defense or Aerospace OEMs
- The successful candidate should be driving growth, managing complex customer relationships, and delivering high-value solutions.
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles and building relationships with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Strong background in continuous improvement, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives, influence stakeholders, and deliver results under pressure.
- Travel requirements: 30-50%
- Base salary in the 140k - 160k/year range
- Uncapped Commissions
