- The Planning and Performance pillar of Hospital Sector Stabilization Plan (HSSP) is jointly led by the Ministry and the Agency. It focuses on the development of hospital balance plans and targeted supports based on hospital-specific context, organizational effectiveness, and financial health indicators. Regional problem-solving is being led through Regional Working Groups (RWGs). RWGs are responsible for:
- Reviewing regional hospital balance plan initiatives that do not meet the definition of low risk.
- Providing feedback and guidance on solutioning and improvement opportunities for specified initiatives.
- Providing advice to the Agency and MOH on feasibility of regional balance plan implementation and interventions.
- As part of Responsibility #2, RWGs have selected areas of priority for regional collaboration with an aim of identifying shared opportunities for improvement, efficiency and cost savings. A Project Manager is required to support this work.
- Experience in managing projects in healthcare sector
- Strong stakeholder management, planning and resource management skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, organize inputs from multiple stakeholders, and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
- Collaboration, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everybody works together effectively, this also involves conflict resolution
- Demonstrated experience leading and overseeing program strategy development from inception through to project close-out
- Demonstrated ability to develop successful relationship and build agreement with high-level internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience understanding and articulating executive expectations and translating into program deliverables
- Provide project management leadership and expertise of regionally scaled, complex, high profile initiatives.
- Responsible for managing the resources, scope, budget, schedule, and quality of deliverables of the assigned projects
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationship and effective communication with the sponsor(s), internal and external partners, and project team members
- Organize and lead project meetings
- Proactively identify and manage risks, and systematically resolve or escalate known issues
- Adhere to and promote Agency’s policies and processes including Privacy, Security, and Record Management
- Manage release of the product/project/work package to an operational environment
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills
- Strong working knowledge of the Project Management
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong working knowledge of the Project Management
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal clients and external partners, clients, and vendors
- Acumen to resolve conflicts at all levels with tact
- Well-developed analytical skills with a keen eye for details
- Managing projects for initiatives with multiple partners
- Well experienced in health care operations, not IT
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Knowledge/expertise of current health care trends
- Develop charters to guide the work;
- Maintain a comprehensive Engagement Tracker covering internal teams, external stakeholders, vendors, and partner organizations.
- Prepare engagement summaries for leadership, including status, risks, cadence, upcoming touchpoints.
- Develop professional, consistent communication artifacts, including:
- project updates,
- change notices,
- engagement summaries,
- meeting minutes & action logs.
- Support preparation of materials for governance, leadership updates, workshops, and consultations.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships and effective communication with the sponsor(s), internal and external partners, and project team members;
- Organize and lead project meetings;
- Ensure effective project change control;
- Track action items and ensure timely follow-up.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, and systematically resolve or escalate known issues in order that a clear output can be identified and achieved.
- The resource will ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Agency team before end of engagement. Some of this might occur at the end of the engagement but will also be shared as information is obtained/consolidated. Key deliverables will be shared with team.
- The resource must provide all related documentation as part of knowledge transfer protocol. Documents will be reviewed by the appropriate leads and signed off by manager/director.
- The resource will work collaboratively with the Agency team throughout the assignment and ensure key deliverables, milestones, and documentation are shared.
- A walkthrough of any demos, development, etc. will be required throughout and before the end of the engagement.
- Healthcare is a must
- 5+ years experience:
- 5+ years Experience in managing projects in healthcare sector
