- Lead the culinary direction of the resort's dining program, ensuring every dish reflects quality, consistency, and creativity
- Design and evolve menus that celebrate fresh ingredients, seasonal inspiration, and guest expectations
- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, flavour, and execution across all services
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including preparation, service, ordering, and inventory management
- Manage food costs and supplier relationships while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards are consistently upheld
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a small but dedicated kitchen team
- Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and culinary pride
- Lead by example during service with strong organization, communication, and composure
- Oversee culinary planning and execution for weddings, private events, and resort gatherings
- Partner with resort leadership to elevate the overall guest experience through food and hospitality
- Adapt menus and service styles to suit a diverse range of events and seasonal demand
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or senior culinary leader within a restaurant, resort, or hospitality setting
- Strong operational understanding of kitchen management, food costing, and inventory control
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on team development and mentorship
- Experience delivering both à la carte service and event or banquet-style dining
- Culinary training or certification considered an asset
- Valid FoodSafe certification required
- A chef who leads from the front and thrives in a hands-on environment
