As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of fuel and bulk lubricants to our valued customers in the region.
  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport fuel to various customer locations
  • Ensure proper loading, unloading, and handling of fuel and lubricant products
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols during transportation and delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and address any concerns professionally
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring all safety equipment is present and functional
  • Participate in ongoing safety training and stay updated on industry best practices
Qualifications
  • Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Able to operate a truck with a manual transmission
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification
  • WHMIS certification
  • Previous experience as a fuel or bulk lubricants driver preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fuel procedures
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to fuel transportation
  • Proficiency in operating fuel delivery equipment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication abilities
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Familiarity with the Manitoulin and surrounding area is an asset
