What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Comprehensive benefits plan Monday–Friday schedule (steady hours) Stable year-round work with well-maintained equipment On-site parking Support for a healthy home/work balance Duties & Responsibilities: The Trailer Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on trailers and commercial transport equipment, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and legislated standards. You will also: Ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards for safe operation and availability Inspect and test mechanical units (brake systems, axles, suspensions, etc.) to locate faults Diagnose, adjust, repair, or replace trailer systems including structural, brake, and electrical components Perform scheduled preventative maintenance services and record all repairs accurately Interpret, process, and complete work orders with proper parts billing Promote safety awareness; follow company health, safety, and environmental procedures Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices when required Perform other related duties as assigned What You Bring: Trailer Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience CVIP Certification (asset) Class 1 License (asset) Strong focus on safety and professionalism with ability to maintain a clean work area Ability to interpret technical manuals and work orders Skilled at diagnosing, repairing, and replacing defective trailer components Able to thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills Effective communication across all levels of the organization Knowledge of governing legislation and regulatory standards Ability to pass a criminal record check and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening Why Join Tri-Line?
