- Manage the Customer Service Representatives team
- Monitor site service level and customer satisfaction and implement corrective actions to overcome any shortfalls
- Assist with pricing and new product setup
- Support the ERP/Production Co-ordinator in daily activities
- Validate available capacity based on forecasts from Sales, set up a production plan and ensure its execution
- Ensure the For Approval (FA) process is carried out; Take part in daily FA planning meetings with the CSR’s and approve dates and quantities ordered
- Update the MRP program to maintain its effectiveness and relevance
- Monitor adherence to the production planning and provide recommendation to overcome any shortfalls
- Ensure inventory levels are managed to maximize efficiency, optimize Working Capital, and minimize obsolescence.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts as required
- Participate in the New Business Meeting
- Provide recommendations to the Operations team to improve site effectiveness and profitability.
- Other duties as required.
- Support the Materials Manager in daily activities through a functioning FA process.

- Support the Graphics Supervisor in daily activities
- Support Warehouse Supervisor with logistics cost saving initiatives and daily activities
- With the help of the Warehouse Supervisor, coordinate delivery to customers
- Provide leadership, direction and guidance to the CSR, scheduling, procurement, graphics, and shipping team
- Establish goals with direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and assistance with their development plans
- Motivate, provide regular coaching and feedback, and counsel team members as required
- Provide input into hiring, termination, and compensation decisions
- Promote operational agility and a culture of change
- Promote an open-door policy within the site
- Regular contact with Operations, Quality, Sales and Customers
- Occasional contact with third-party logistics providers
- Occasional contact with Human Resource
- Occasional contact with the Corporate team and other sites
- Ability to work under pressure, organize complex tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to lead, plan and manage change
- Regular use of computers, telephones, and other types of office equipment
- Read, understand and follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Read, understand, and follow SQF requirements and General Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Little physical effort required
- Office and Manufacturing/Production Floor.
- Flexible Hours
- University Degree or Technical Diploma in Supply Chain and 7-10 years in progressive Supply Chain roles including planning, purchasing and/or logistics including some supervisory experience
- High level experience with production planning systems
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Good organizational skills, project management skills
- Must be able to meet target dates, prioritize and practice excellent time management skills
- Familiarity with IT tools (MS Office, MRP)
