In this role, you will:
  • Responsible for providing leadership to the daily operations of the day camp site
  • Lead and support all other staff on site through leadership and previous knowledge
  • Ensure safety and satisfaction goals are being met
  • Responsible for camper safety and enjoyment, managing a staff team, solving problems and providing excellent customer service
  • Full and active participation in all camp activities
  • Support leadership in weekly staff meetings
  • Support other leadership as needed in daily operational tasks
What you need to succeed:
  • Experience working with children in a Day Camp Setting
  • Current Emergency First Aid or higher
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening as per policy
  • A dedication to demonstrate the YMCA core values
