Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.Perform regular servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on all applicable mobile equipment;Use computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of required repairs;Repair hydraulic, powertrain and electrical systems;Use various tools including hydraulic power units, torque wrenches and hoists;Identify and report part requirements and supplies as required;Prepare electronic service reports and documentation in an accurate and timely manner;Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work area.QualificationsExperience with ultra-class mining equipment: notably 6030, 6060, 7495 Caterpillar shovels, 795 and 798 trucks as well as Epiroc D65, DM-45 and Pit Viper drills;Five years’ related experience in a fast-paced production environment;Ontario Provincial or Inter-Provincial Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certificate is considered an asset;Minimum High School Diploma or GED;Computer literate and proven knowledge of CAT ET & SIS Web.Your Work Schedule:Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
