- Lead the Enterprise Data Platform Delivery Services team, including data engineers and operations specialists.
- Provide architecture leadership and hands-on technical expertise across Snowflake and integrated tools like DBT, Qlik, and Talend.
- Drive robust solution design ensuring performance, security, governance, and cost-efficiency in a hub-and-spoke data model.
- Manage data ingestion and processing frameworks for both batch and real-time data sources.
- Establish and monitor KPIs such as ingestion time reductions, self-service adoption rates, and SLA adherence.
- Champion platform observability, including lineage, telemetry, and quality monitoring.
- Lead incident management processes and ensure effective root cause resolution and platform reliability.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies, automation, and AI/ML readiness capabilities.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to align data initiatives with business objectives.
- Govern and support federated data producers across the enterprise to drive decentralized data ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with data lakes and architecture patterns.
- 2+ years working with Snowflake and associated tools (DBT, Qlik, replication).
- Strong grasp of data warehousing principles, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning.
- Experience with AWS; exposure to Azure or Google Cloud is an asset.
- Proficient in ANSI SQL, NoSQL, data modeling, and Snowflake optimization techniques.
- Familiar with DevOps tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
