With offices in Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, Windsor, New York, and Florida, our skilled team partners with top insurers to provide tailored coverage options and prompt, reliable claims support.Position SummaryThe Group Benefits Account Associate will partner closely with Masters Principals and Managers/Team Leads to service and support a diverse and growing portfolio of clients. This role is responsible for marketing both new and existing accounts and requires a highly motivated individual who can adapt to changing priorities while consistently delivering exceptional client service.Benefits

Key AccountabilitiesAct as liaison between the Insurance Company and the client.Renewals:
  • Coordinate upcoming renewals with the Managing General Agency (MGA)
  • Review renewal and marketing materials prepared by the MGA to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Follow up on negotiations and proactively communicate renewal status to clients
  • Arrange and participate in client meetings to present the final negotiated renewal terms
  • Address and follow up on any changes, issues, or requests arising from client meetings
Marketing/Amendments:
  • Work with the Managing General Agency (MGA) to obtain quotations for marketing accounts
  • Schedule and coordinate presentation meetings with clients
  • Submit all completed and signed documentation to the selected carrier for processing and plan set-up
  • Coordinate the delivery of required enrolment materials for distribution at employee information meetings
  • Follow up with clients to ensure the group plan is properly installed and operating smoothly
  • Assist with plan or eligibility changes, liaising with the MGA and carrier as required
Customer Service:
  • Respond to client inquiries via email and telephone in a professional and timely manner
  • Proactively follow up with clients to ensure all outstanding issues and concerns are resolved
  • Schedule client appointments and coordinate meetings with internal team members
  • Accurately document all client inquiries, requests, and resolutions
Candidate Qualifications
  • A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in Group Benefits is preferred.
  • Life Licensed candidates preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs including Outlook, Word and Excel. PowerPoint experience is an asset.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Self-motivation with ability to problem-solve with limited supervision
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
