- Lead end-to-end implementation of Guidewire Insurance platform.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Oversee configuration, customization, and integration activities within Guidewire Insurance platform projects.
- Manage code reviews, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Support deployment activities and coordinate with QA teams for testing.
- Participate in Guidewire Cloud deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues and defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Working knowledge of Core Java, Gosu, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), API Integrations.
- Experience in production support activities like queue management, plug-in related issues, batch file generations.
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of service management and change management activities, along with SLA and estimator tools.
- Experience working on incident management and problem management.
- Experience with Service delivery life cycle along with release planning and management.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in technical operations, software development, or IT support.
- Hands on experience with Guidewire Insurance platform.
- Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, and Guidewire Studio.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiar with API integrations, batch processing, and messaging.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, AWS Certified Developer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).
- Advanced programming or scripting language certifications (e.g., Java, Python, or PowerShell).
- Guidewire version 9 technical/functional certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with basic development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
