- Direct responsibility for all movement of material in the facility
- Perform prep work for painters
- Keep to schedule cleaning duties as laid out
- Maintain property surrounding shop, including litter control
- Ensure workplace safety by ensuring operators are following safety protocols and are properly trained
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Experience driving forklift, or equivalent
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Experience with routine maintenance operations
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse work environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
- Job requires ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required
- Hazards associated with the industry
- Majority of work is inside
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Other duties as assigned
