The Business Intelligence Analyst will transform complex data into actionable insights and support decision-making by developing dashboards, maintaining data pipelines, and enabling AI applications through semantic modeling. This role is approximately 70-80% data-focused with some business analysis responsibilities, including stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign and build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and Microsoft BI toolsMaintain and enhance data pipelines, primarily within Azure environmentsSupport AI initiatives through semantic modeling and data preparationCollaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and offer data-driven recommendationsMonitor and improve data quality, consistency, and reliability across business systemsCore RequirementsStrong proficiency with Power BI, DAX, SSRS, Report Builder, and SQLExperience with data acquisition and transformation tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS)Familiarity with or willingness to learn DBTUnderstanding of relational databases, semantic modeling, and AI data preparationMinimum 3 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence rolesDesired Skills & ExperienceExperience with stakeholder/business requirements gatheringAzure cloud platform knowledgeExposure to NetSuiteBackground in business administration, IT, or related fieldExperience preparing data for AI applicationsTerms
This is a full-time permanent position based in Vancouver, BC, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring three days onsite per week.
