Location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid Remote
Job Type: Contract, Full-time (3 months with a possibility of extension)Our client, a dynamic real estate firm, is looking for a highly organized and detail-driven AR Coordinator to support their finance and operations team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in Accounts Receivable (AR), and QuickBooks, with prior experience in the real estate industry considered a strong asset.Responsibilities:- Prepare and issue invoices in line with commission structures and closing dates
- Coordinate with agents, brokerages, and legal teams to ensure timely payments
- Reconcile revenue data between reports and the internal accounting system
- Track incoming/outgoing trust and commission account transfers, and managing high volume of invoices
- Follow up on overdue balances and provide reporting on AR
- Reconcile deposits and transactions processed by team members in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare weekly payment reports and support month-end reconciliation packages
- Maintain accurate pay records, memos, and contribution updates for agents
- Collaborate with internal/external accountants for weekly commission disbursements
- Assist with cheque deposits, and real estate trust account administration
- Support financial documentation and reporting for audits and regulatory filingsQualifications:- 2+ years experience in AR/AP, bookkeeping, or accounting support
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time across multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fast learner with the ability to work independently
