The ideal candidate will provide superior customer service and administrative support for the Consumer Proposal file administration process. This role has the flexibility to work from home and an uninterrupted high-speed internet connection is a must.Responsibilities
- Primarily phone and email communication to provide for timely resolution of issues for clients, creditors and other stakeholders including but not limited to the following:
- Addressing proposal payment requests, NSF payments and mitigating defaults
- Coordinating revival processes
- Efficiently respond to current clients inquiries relating to the status of their file
- Answering questions directly or indirectly pertaining to the proposal and debtor’s financial affairs in general
- Issuing status and other miscellaneous letters to the debtors, creditors etc.
- Liaising with other team members to ensure efficient and diligent administration of the proposal estates
- Ensure phone queues are cleared and assigned tasks are completed on a daily basis
- Work together with colleagues to help assist the clients
- Participate in ongoing training to improve technical knowledge
- Previous insolvency experience
- Post-secondary education or related equivalent experience
- Insolvency Administrator Certificate (asset but not required)
- Ability to de‑escalate challenging situations while maintaining professionalism, strong conflict‑resolution, and high standard of customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to speak effectively with clients and other third parties
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High computer literacy including the ability to learn new programs
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Great interpersonal skills to deal with team members, staff, and clients
