IS2 Workforce Solutions is hiring an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a busy manufacturing operation in the Barrie area. This is a full time, on site role ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys owning a wide variety of HR functions from end to end.What You’ll Be DoingFull Cycle Payroll & HR Administration
  • Complete full cycle payroll, including annual EHT reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all documentation is compliant and up to date
  • Support benefits administration, compensation reviews, and employee changes
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Lead full cycle recruitment (internal and external): job postings, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer letters
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure successful orientation for all incoming employees
Employee Relations & Policy Support
  • Act as a resource for employees and leaders on policies, procedures, and workplace matters
  • Provide guidance on performance management, attendance, and disciplinary processes
  • Support the facility in maintaining compliance with legislation and internal standards
Health & Safety
  • Assist with incident reporting and ensure investigations and corrective actions are completed
  • Collaborate with the safety team to support a safe working environment
HR Analytics & Continuous Improvement
  • Track and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare HR reports and support quarterly business planning
  • Recommend and implement process improvements across HR programs
Attendance & Performance Programs
  • Administer attendance management and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Support leaders in delivering ongoing feedback and performance evaluations
What We’re Looking For
  • Post secondary education in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • CHRP designation (completed or in progress)
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • 3+ years of labour relations experience
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, legislation, and workplace policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems
  • Comfortable working primarily in an office environment with occasional visits to the production floor
