Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
Maintain a clean and safe environment for your clients
Assisting clients with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) such as light housekeeping and meal preparation
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), as assigned
Monitoring and reporting any changes in your client's condition to our healthcare team
Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients

Qualifications:

A genuine desire to assist others and improve their quality of life
Compassionate, empathetic, patient, and understanding
Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance and/or nursing assistance is a Plus!
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset
A negative Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check issued in the past 90 days
Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
