- Conduct risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), initiative reviews, and compliance assessments
- Facilitate process mapping and control evaluations
- Analyze root causes of risks and track remediation plans
- Identify and classify operational risk events (OREs), analyze causes, and develop mitigation plans
- Ensure proper reporting and tracking of OREs and related action items
- Monitor and report on open issues from audits, assessments, and KRIs
- Align issue management practices across Operations
- Collect and analyze KPI/KRI data and support operational risk reporting
- Assist with updates to business processes and policies
- Provide feedback on risk frameworks and document procedures
- Deliver risk training and promote awareness across the organization
- Build relationships with control functions and support business adoption of risk practices
- Lead business continuity planning efforts within Operations
- Act as the first point of contact for coordinating internal audits and regulatory examinations
- University degree in business, economics, finance, or relevant work experience
- Professional certifications/designations preferred
- 3–5 years in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Finance, or Operational Effectiveness within a regulated Canadian financial institution
- Experience in facilitation, project management
- Strong understanding of risk management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable presenting to senior leadership
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to influence decision-making and drive improvements
- Experience with process management, quality standards, and performance measurement

- Expected base salary range is $80 000.00 - $105 000.00, plus the opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus tied to performance.
