Provide consulting services in conjunction with geotechnical engineering and/or construction quality control and material testing;
Enhance, develop and mobilize the team of professionals and technicians;
Plan, assign, coordinate and supervise work, projects and activities performed by the team;
Chair periodic communication and meetings for the team;
Help manage the training plans and career development of employees;
Provide effective leadership, direction and support for members of the team;
Assist in recruitment of professionals;
Work with project managers to ensure that projects are set up and executed in full compliance with quality standards and regulations;
Identify areas for potential improvement and direct the implementation of changes;
Prepare and review proposals for geotechnical engineering projects, including scope of work and fees, including materials testing related projects as required;
Provide the role of Quality Assurance Reviewer for Geotechnical and/or Construction Quality Control projects, designs and deliverables;
Build and/or support client relationships at the appropriate level, working in conjunction with senior leadership team;
Participate in regional strategic planning meetings;
Implement up-to-date business processes;
Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety policies.

What makes you unique

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of geotechnical engineering;
Experience of managing a portfolio or projects and a team of project engineers and/or civil technicians;
University Degree in Civil Engineering;
Possession of a Professional Engineering (P.Eng) designation in Ontario is required;
Superior communication skills, written and spoken;
Willingness and ability to travel throughout SWO;
An interest in and sensitivity to occupational health and safety.

The salary range for this position is $96,159 to $126,209 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit.
