- To embed with our wet-lab teams and lead communication and drive collaboration between the computational data sciences and laboratory research teams.
- Leverage ground-breaking technologies to interrogate adaptive humoral and cellular immune responses
- Design experiments to test and validate novel immunomodulatory methods and compounds
- Develop strategies to direct the adaptive immune response towards desired outcomes
- Collaborate with protein engineers to create, test and optimize novel molecule designs
- Lead external collaborations with academic and industry partners to access emerging technologies in Immunoengineering and AI-driven protein design.
- Monitor and evaluate scientific advances relevant to adaptive immunity and therapeutic engineering to inform strategic R&D decisions.
- PhD in Immunology, Biomedical Engineering, Vaccinology or Computational Systems Biology.
- Postdoctoral studies in related disciplines; antigen-processing, vaccine design, T and B cell epitope prediction, immune repertoire profiling.
- Hands-on experience with in vitro immunogenicity assays and in silico modeling tools
- Proven track record of integrating laboratory science and state-of-the-art machine learning protein design modeling tools to solve challenging protein design problems
- Experience working in the wet lab or directly with wet lab scientists
- Great communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail, including for written and oral presentation and code documentation
- Broad general interest in modeling complex biological systems
- Ability to drive an end-to-end project including working with collaborators to deliver results
