We are continuing to expand across Canada and are looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role will specialize in service calls, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar energy systems.What You’ll DoConduct service calls to diagnose and repair electrical issues related to solar PV systemsTroubleshoot electrical components including wiring, inverters, modules, and monitoring systemsEnsure all electrical work meets applicable codes, standards, and safety requirementsPerform preventative maintenance and full system inspectionsWork directly with customers to explain system issues and recommend solutionsCollaborate with project managers, installers, and support teams to resolve service needs efficientlyComplete detailed work orders, reports, and service recordsWhat We’re Looking ForJourneyman Electrician certification (Red Seal preferred)Experience in residential or commercial electrical work; solar experience considered an assetStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsComfortable working independently in the field, with a high level of attention to detailProfessional communication and customer service skillsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordWhy Firefly Solar
