- Lead and perform audit activities, including interviews, document reviews, surveys, working papers, special reviews, investigations, and SOX testing/training
- Develop, document, and communicate audit observations, recommendations, and engagement results through reports, presentations, and status updates on management action plans
- Build and maintain strong client, staff, and cross-functional relationships while representing internal audit on project teams and in management meetings
- Guide, mentor, and oversee staff auditors or small project groups while handling confidential and sensitive information with professionalism
- Support organizational improvement by promoting best practices, contributing to annual audit planning, collaborating with external auditors/consultants, and pursuing ongoing professional development, with up to 20% domestic/international travel
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree considered an asset
- CIA, CPA-CA, or CISA required; CFE designation is an asset
- 5+ years of full-time audit experience (public accounting preferred); oil and gas experience is beneficial but not required
- Strong internal auditing, data analysis, project management, MIS/ERP (e.g., SAP), and advanced MS 365 skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities with the capability to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners
