Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and complete training on installation and operation of robotic arms, manipulators, and AMRs.
- Travel to client sites for on-site installation, integration, and commissioning of robotics systems and automation packages.
- Collaborate with engineers to diagnose and resolve hardware, wiring, and connectivity issues on-site.
- Provide technical support and maintenance, including mechanical and electrical servicing, post-installation.
- Engage with clients professionally and supportively, ensuring a high standard of customer service and system hand-off.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, issues, and resolutions.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical system setup and diagnostics.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset, with familiarity using measurement tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Comfortable working in field environments, independently and with cross-disciplinary teams.
- A positive, customer-first attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Interest in robotics and motivation to grow within a technical team.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field – or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Previous experience in a field technician, service technician, or installation support role in a technical industry.
- Familiarity with robotics platforms (industrial manipulators, collaborative robots, AMRs) such as UR and Kawasaki.
- Exposure to basic programming (e.g., Python, C++, or ROS).
- Experience working with Linux-based systems.
- Knowledge of CAD software and basic mechanical design.
- Understanding of control systems and sensor integration.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new systems and technologies.
- Calm under pressure, especially in troubleshooting live installations.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as part of your role.
