- Ensures major projects and programs are managed across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
- Lead strategic projects; and provide support with bids and proposal.
- Provide guidance and make decisions on project issues
- Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control guidelines.
- Interfacing and managing relationships and expectations with Domestic and International customers.
- Liaise with all stakeholders and departments to ensure technical, schedule and budget compliance;
- Management of suppliers/subcontractors and manufacturers of products for the projects
- Evaluate project risk and develop mitigation plans, as required;
- Review project expenditure, cash collection and EAC forecasts;
- Prepare and submit monthly progress reports and Lead and participate in Internal monthly project status reviews.
- Keep management fully informed on progress.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, commerce or management.
- 10+ years' experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects .
- Familiarity with various standards pertaining to nuclear applications would be an asset.
- Familiarity with industrial I&C (Instrumentation & Control) systems, digital control platforms, and plant automation architectures would be an asset.
- Proven leadership managing full project lifecycle from requirements definition through design, integration, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
- Adept at planning and overseeing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), simulation/testing programs, and commissioning activities.
- Recognized for building strong, cross-functional relationships and driving collaborative problem solving across engineering, operations, and field services to deliver integrated solutions.
- Extensive experience managing vendor interfaces, engineering deliverables, and configuration baselines.
- Skilled in risk management, schedule development, earned-value tracking, and cost control for multimillion-dollar projects.
- Effective communicator able to translate project status, constraints, and decisions to technical teams, management, and external partners.
- Track record of establishing robust change-management processes and maintaining alignment with stakeholders.
- Proficient with project management methodologies and tools (PMBOK, Agile hybrid approaches, MS Project SharePoint, collaborative PM platforms).
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills both in French and English.
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
