SUMMARYUnder general supervision, the Senior Driver operates a company vehicle to transport materials, merchandise, or equipment within an industrial area.JOB DUTIES
  • Operates company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment as required.
  • Coordinates the loading or unloading of trucks.
  • Prepares receipts and verifying orders.
  • Ensures vehicle and equipment are clean, safe, and kept in working order.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
  • Ability to read and interpret delivery instructions.
  • Ability to document any information obtained from customer during delivery.
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Strong efficiency and time management skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to move up to 100lbs and lift to 50 lbs.LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Valid driver's license and annual review of driving record.
  • Road test is required upon hire. All company vehicles are subject to continuous video monitoring.
  • Internal training and certifications required upon hire.
  • Medical Card / DOT Physical.
  • May be required to earn safety certifications for specific customers.
  • Must comply with applicable federal DOT guidelines.
