Job Type: Contract Role OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on CI/CD Specialist / DevOps Engineer to design, build, and support robust CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.This role focuses on pipeline development, automation, and troubleshooting, working closely with development teams supporting Java-based applications across GCP and Azure environments. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub
- Implement pipeline-as-code using Groovy, YAML, and shell scripting
- Support automated build, test, and packaging workflows (Maven, Gradle)
- Manage Git/GitHub workflows (branching strategies, PRs)
- Build and maintain Docker images for application deployments
- Support container-based build and runtime workflows
- Work with GCP and Azure environments for deployments
- Maintain and support non-production environments
- Develop automation scripts using Python and shell scripting
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and build issues
- Assist developers with environment and deployment challenges
- Participate in incident analysis and resolution
- Document CI/CD processes, pipelines, and runbooks
- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Docker, Maven, Gradle
- Solid understanding of Java build processes
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and best practices
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in Python scripting
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Experience with Kubernetes / container orchestration
- Exposure to Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions
