We are WSP.The Opportunity - Shape the World Around YouAs Project Counsel, you'll play a key role in some of WSP's most transformative infrastructure and advisory projects across Canada. Your work helps shape communities, guide large-scale project execution, and strengthen the legal frameworks that support complex, high-impact initiatives.Your Impact
- Provide strategic legal guidance across all project phases, ensuring compliance and effective risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with commercial teams, project managers, and executive leadership to align legal strategies with business objectives.
- Act as the primary legal resource on assigned projects, interpreting contracts and responding to legal inquiries.
- Draft, review and negotiate complex agreements, including progressive design-build, design-build and alliance contracts.
- Engage with external stakeholders-clients, delivery partners, and government agencies-to support project success.
- Support dispute resolution and claims management with a solutions-driven approach.
- Contribute to national best-practice development within WSP's Canadian Legal team.
- Licensed to practise law in a Canadian province or territory, with 7+ years of infrastructure, construction, or commercial law experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the legal aspects of large, multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong understanding of Canadian procurement processes and alternative delivery models.
- Comfortable navigating complex stakeholder groups and providing decisive legal guidance.

MB & ON: $123,300 - $169,800
