The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cerner Command Language (CCL) and proven experience delivering high-quality reporting solutions. This role will involve scoping, designing, and building reports, collaborating with stakeholders to define reporting needs, and ensuring data accuracy and performance across healthcare reporting systems.Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of professional experience with CCL
At least 2 years of direct experience scoping, designing, and building reports in Cerner Command Language (CCL)
Strong hands-on experience with CCL, DA2, and SQL
Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop scalable reporting solutions
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into actionable insights for stakeholders
Strong understanding of healthcare reporting workflows and standards
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience in mentoring or leading small technical teams
Familiarity with other Cerner tools, modules, or healthcare data platforms
Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance regulations (HIPAA, PHIPA, etc.)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced reports using Cerner Command Language (CCL)
Collaborate with business and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions
Scope, design, and build custom reports to meet clinical, operational, and business needs
Optimize queries and scripts to ensure high performance and accuracy of reports
Support and mentor junior team members in CCL best practices
Leverage DA2, SQL, and related tools for complex data extraction, transformation, and reporting
Maintain documentation for all developed reports, queries, and workflows
Ensure compliance with healthcare data governance, privacy, and security standards
