
Senior Business Solutions Analyst, Yardi

- Applies business analysis methodology to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs from key stakeholders
- Performs business analysis planning to outline the tasks and deliverables needed for the project and estimate the time required including the time of the business stakeholders involved.
- Plays a pivotal role in ensuring ITs understanding of business requirements, communicating business requirements to developers/technical analysts and providing sound technical solutions to business needs.
- Thoroughly document and maintain business requirements
- Assists in Integration and Acceptance Testing, develops testing scripts/plans, supports the development of training and implementation material and works with the Solutions Delivery Team to coordinate implementation
- Ensures the traceability of requirements through each stage of the requirements gathering process, mapping requirements corresponding functions in the solution
- Works on multiple concurrent project types including: Cloud-Based solutions, custom development, and enhancements/support
- Takes an enterprise view in recommending solutions that benefit the whole company, not just a specific business area
- Contributes to managing the business relationship
- Ensure corporate data is secured in accordance with IT security policies
- Ensures appropriate technical documentation is created and maintained
- Identify opportunities, risk and constraints for IT to enhance the business
- Maintain a good understanding of the organization’s business units’ functions and processes

- Post-secondary education in the field of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Information Systems
- Minimum 5 years in Business Analysis
- Minimum 3 years of working experience with Yardi Voyager 7S
- Demonstrated knowledge of transactional SQL Servers, SSRS, Yardi Report writing, YSR and YSL is an asset
- Working knowledge of the property management industry and core business process and operations specifically in commercial retail
- Experience in conducting interviews and facilitating workshops to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios and other methods
- Working knowledge of Real Estate Accounting is an asset
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling
- Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts
- Good technical knowledge of common programming languages
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Visio
- Knowledge of ITIL Framework
- Knowledge of project development methodologies including Agile
- Yardi Voyager System configuration, security setup, system administration
- Advanced knowledge of Yardi Voyager modules, Commercial, Investment Management, Advanced Budgeting and Forecasting, Forecast Manager and Yardi Portals such as VendorCafé
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement system upgrades
- Advanced knowledge of the Yardi Database Schema/Structure
- Good understanding of, and ability to create Yardi reports would be an asset
- Review, analyze, and execute requested configurations in the Yardi System in Yardi as requested by partner consultants
- Provide end-user support to both internal CF employees on the Program team and external consultants.
- Maintains detailed knowledge of current CF applications and business processes and recommends tools and processes in Yardi that will ensure successful roll out of the Yardi ERP system
- Yardi Systems Environment Management
- Maintains all CF Yardi environments and ensures documentation is in place for all environments in use with their respective purpose
- Ability to write Functional/Technical Specifications for Yardi Reports
