  • Execute feature test on a 0-day malware detection product
  • Execute regression testing on Fortinet based products using a combination of manual and automation testing techniques.
  • Work closely with developers to understand new features
  • Create and execute test specifications and test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing. Work closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed
Experience Required
  • Software testing experience
  • A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching
  • Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, as well as software development fundamentals
  • Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting server software and hardware in a Windows and Unix environment
  • Ability to work on assigned tasks under tight time constraints
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear and reproducible problem reports, and test results
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EXSI, KVM, HyperV, Linux, Sniff, or Ethereal
  • Demonstrated skills in scripting languages, such as PYTHON, shell are considered assets
  • Knowledge of database a plus
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms is preferred
The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $75,000 - $100,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.
