You won't just be turning wrenches-you'll be contributing to reliable power solutions that keep industries running.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring industrial engines and power systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engine Diagnostics & Repair:
o Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational reliability.
- Preventative Maintenance & Inspections:
o Complete detailed service reports and documentation to maintain compliance and service history accuracy.
- Rebuilds & Component Overhauls:
o Utilize precision tools, diagnostic software, and manufacturer manuals to ensure quality standards are met.
- Safety & Collaboration:
o Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment aligned with company and industry standards.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Education & Experience:
o 3+ years of experience working on heavy-duty diesel or natural gas engines in an industrial or shop environment.
- Technical Skills:
o Experience with OEM engines (CAT, Cummins, MTU, etc.) and related diagnostic software is an asset.
