- Support suppliers, Purchasing and other departments with normal and expedited freight coordination
- Coordinate goods and bus movements with traffic service providers, ensuring customs and carrier compliance
- Process and follow up on carrier claims
- Track shipments upon request from internal stakeholders
- Process freight invoices and assign appropriate GL codes for approval
- Consolidate freight data and generate regular reports
- Respond promptly to requests from government agencies
- Support brokerage providers with documentation and compliance issues
- Update Oracle with customs data (e.g. tariff codes, country of origin)
- Maintain and communicate freight routing details with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with provincial safety, environmental and health regulations
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain and Logistics
- Completion of CSBC Course or a recognized transportation course considered an asset
- 3+ years of Traffic and Customs experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skill, oral and written
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with a sense of urgency and hands-on approach
