Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Educator to lead competency-based education, training, and professional development initiatives across our clinical teams. This full-time role is ideal for a nursing professional with strong experience in palliative care, adult education, and clinical leadership who is passionate about empowering staff, elevating standards of care, and supporting excellence in practice.As a key member of the professional practice team, you will design, deliver, and evaluate education programs, support clinical teams at the point of care, and collaborate with leaders to drive high-quality, evidence-informed practice across the organization.Pay Rate: $90,000 - $110,000/annually (based on experience)Location: Toronto, ONJob type: Permanent | Full-timeVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.Here's why you should apply:Paid weekly accurate and on timeStrong health and safety programsMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilities:Education Planning & Program DeliveryPlan, deliver, and evaluate competency-based orientation and continuing education programsConduct needs assessments and develop education plans that align with organizational priorities and evidence-based practiceProvide ongoing education, coaching, and mentorship to ensure safe, high-quality careDevelop learning strategies that enable clinical teams to work at full scope of practiceClinical Support & Best Practice ImplementationSupport nurses and interprofessional teams in integrating new workflows, policies, and practicesEmpower teams to collaborate, share best practices, and build competencies in key areas such as palliative care and leadershipSupport Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) activities and initiativesPromote staff wellness through mental health education, debriefing, and supportive resourcesTraining, Facilitation & Curriculum DevelopmentCreate engaging education content using adult learning principles across classroom, clinical, and simulation settingsDesign curriculum for learning management systems and ensure accessibility for diverse learnersMonitor and evaluate knowledge application through chart audits, LMS usage, and clinical observationCollaboration & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with managers, interprofessional staff, and external partners to identify learning needs and create solutionsAct as a resource to staff for identifying and meeting their own professional development goalsCoordinate student clinical placements in partnership with education institutions and department managersParticipate actively with internal and external committees and working groupsQuality, Leadership & Professional GrowthProvide coaching and mentorship to staff, addressing quality or risk issues in a supportive, timely mannerStay current on trends in health care, palliative practice, clinical education, and relevant legislationModel effective change management and help teams adapt to evolving practice requirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required); Master's degree preferred or in progressCurrent registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)Completion of Fundamentals of Palliative Care, LEAP, and/or CAPCECNA Hospice Palliative Care Certification preferred or willingness to obtain within one yearMinimum 5 years of palliative care experience preferredMinimum 2 years' experience as a Clinical Educator or similar role preferredStrong understanding of adult education principles and curriculum designExcellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to evidence-based and reflective practiceAbility to lead, coach, mentor, and support clinical teamsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesKnowledge and comfort using mobile technology and clinical documentation toolsComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systemsAbility to work flexible hours as neededMust have a valid driver's license and willingness to travelMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
