- Responsible for providing technical input and support where required.
- Key participant in user group meeting; acts as the key liaison between end users, architects, construction team and consultants to ensure client and Hospital objectives are met throughout the entire planning .
- Liaises with departmental team members within the hospital team to ensure all associated project activities are coordinated.
- Responsible for site review of architectural building assemblies, finishes, coordination and integration of Mechanical, Electrical and Structural.
- Responsible for expediting and tracking Hospital input into RFI and addendum requests.
- Works closely with team to stay abreast of changes that may become apparent due to changes in scope in project.
- Expedites requests and ensures that all consultants are working to facilitate hospital needs.
- Ensures end-user relocation is completed and executed effectively, according to schedule.
- Coordinates, implements, and manages multiple complex projects.
- Evaluate the various proponent team design/construction proposals during the RFP open bid period as part of the Evaluation Team.
- Liaise with project users and other stakeholders to ensure needs are addresses and issues resolves to meet objectives of the project.
- Prepares RFPs for retention of consultants and contractors.
- Works with the Redevelopment team and specialty consultants to ensure cohesive and complete documents.
- Liaises and works with architects and engineering consultants during design and construction of projects to ensure the needs of the client and hospital are met.
- Develops and implements quality management goals and objectives.
- Establishes implements and ensures the adherence to policies and procedures.
- Practices in accordance within specific professional standards.
- Assigns appropriate activities to other staff and volunteers, provides effective leadership, supervision and direction.
- Seeks help and accepts guidance when a gap in competence is identified.
- With the Director, participates in the MH performance management program that includes the self-assessment, peer review and learning plan.
- Maintains own competency.
- Promotes and assists with activities for quality improvements.
- Maintains membership in professional job-related organizations as related to area of expertise an knowledge of current trends.
- Continually seeks ongoing education.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum completion of a recognized Architectural or Engineering degree or recognized equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience.
- Ability to produce high quality reports and meet scheduling deadlines.
- Maintains ongoing Professional Development.
- Proficient computer literacy required (CADD, Microsoft Project 2000, Excel spread sheet applications and other project management programs).

- CSC Principles of Construction Documentation and CSC Construction Contract Administration.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred.
- Hospital experience.
