- We are looking for Red Seal HVAC/R Technicians to join our Building Services division.
- Membership with The United Association of Journeypersons and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada (Local 56)

- Some on-call availability may be required
- Install, inspect, and test HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning systems, ventilation units, and refrigeration systems.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems efficiently.
- Identify and address system malfunctions using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Provide clear explanations of issues and recommended solutions to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns, explain services, and provide cost estimates.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and system upgrades.
- Complete necessary reports and provide feedback to management.
- Red Seal HVAC/R Certification Preferred. 4th Year Apprentices may be considered
- Previous experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems. Proficiency with HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, rooftops).
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various work sites.
