Job Description:Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations)Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair requiredProviding support with reference to on-site safety requirementsMaintain Finning Customer Service CommitmentSpecific Skills & Experience:Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Agriculture or Automotive CertificationValid class 5 drivers license with a successful driver's abstractStrong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systemsEngine and/or component rebuilding experienceTransmission or Hydraulic testing knowledgePrevious gas engine and power generation experience is an assetPrevious customer experience would be considered an assetImportant Details:This is a Monday to Friday position based out of our Swift Current branch3rd or 4th Year Apprentices will be consideredA condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicableAt Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
