- Develop and implement forward-thinking HR strategies that align with the organization’s growth trajectory and enhance overall effectiveness.
- Guide the organization through the remaining transitions as part of the amalgamation, ensuring smooth integration of new processes and cultural alignment
- Manage complex labour relations and collective bargaining processes, particularly with unionized faculty, ensuring fair negotiations and compliance with agreements.
- Oversee the payroll function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while addressing complexities related to varied pay structures and multiple roles across campuses.
- Identify and implement process improvements within HR operations, including enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of all HR systems.
- Build and nurture strong connections with faculty and staff across both campuses, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Oversee the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion action plan to ensure adherence to legislation and organizational policies.
- Design and implement initiatives that promote an inclusive workplace culture, collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance organizational practices.
- Oversee compensation projects, ensuring alignment and consistency across campuses while managing benefits programs.
- Work alongside a dedicated team committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace.

- Contribute to meaningful initiatives that shape the future of natropathic medicine and support the community.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior HR management role, preferably within post-secondary education, non-profit organizations, or healthcare ( past or present)
- Proven expertise in labour relations and collective bargaining, with a strong understanding of union dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience in change management, guiding organizations through transitions and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Training and experience in one or more areas: organizational development, conflict resolution, negotiation management, and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
- A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with experience in developing related policies and programs.
- A hands-on attitude, balancing both leadership and operational responsibilities.
