- Scheduled work shifts are Monday to Friday between the hours are anywhere between 1:00 to 5:00 pm
- 20 hours weekly - 4 hours in the afternoon in Steinbach
- Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Previous experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities or ASD
- Post-secondary course work in behaviour modification/applied behaviour analysis (ABA)
- Previous work experience in a supervised ABA program
- Knowledge of philosophies and practices in education, care and support services for individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as a collaborative team player in a team environment
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to generate ideas to improve work procedures and contribute to an environment that fosters growth, development and innovation

- Delivers early intensive behavioural intervention using ABA teaching strategies to assigned children under the direction of the Autism Consultant and Senior Tutor including learning activities in all life areas
- Attends team meetings and workshops
- Collects data and information regarding the child's progress
- Works closely with other team members to ensure coordination and integrity of services
- Communicates with child's family regarding the child's progress, care, and well-being
- Supports and assists child to participate in daily activities (e.g., group activities, outdoor play time), self-care and personal care when needed
- Understands policies and procedures of the Autism Programs and those of the organization
- Reports and documents high risk or potentially high risk situations according to St.Amant and Autism Programs policy
- Carries out programming and teaching in areas/goals that have been identified and individualized for each child; works one-on-one with the child to develop their skills and independence
- Willing and able to learn and maintain accurate data collection, summary and entry methods
- Commits to complete all training required by the Autism Programs
- Develops and/or constructs material for client use when required
- Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
