- Oversee and acquire signed contract agreements and appropriate paperwork from merchants to feature on the Now Book It and Sadie AI platforms.
- Professionally project the company as an experienced professional, in touch with the industry.
- Understand the financial comparison, feature comparisons and points of difference between our products and the other products in market.
- Service all restaurants and assist with any queries they may have about the software.
- Oversee and perform restaurant staff set ups and training.
- Monitor competitive activity and report any new competitors to Management.
- Enter all notes, activity and progress into CRM (Hubspot) when corresponding with Merchants.
- Conduct presentations to restaurateurs and restaurant staff to promote proper use of Now Book It and Sadie AI systems.
- Complete and submit a weekly sales activity report for merchant signing results.
- Attend all industry-related events, trade shows, & functions if applicable to Industry.
- Contribute content to the ongoing growth of NBI and Sadie AI in strategy meetings or during the year to encourage expansion and new features.
- Able to assist signing in other markets across North American if deemed necessary.
- Assist other team members with difficult issues by providing expertise in negotiation and overcoming objections.
- Responsible for representing the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times, as well as observing, procedures and policies.
- Attend, as required, all staff meetings, workshops and divisional/regional training sessions.
- Assist in developing a positive team environment where employees are motivated and satisfied in their role.
- Assist to ensure all company policies and procedures are met by staff.
- Has access to insured, fully maintained vehicle to carry out daily duties.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Line Manager or any other Mangers.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or a similar related discipline is desirable
- 4+ years of experience in B2B Enterprise sales
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the technology, hospitality or software sectors
- Must exhibit a hunter sales mentality, highly professional demeanor, high sense of urgency and a highly ambitious outlook and relentless desire to drive sales revenue growth
- Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry is highly advantagous
- High-reaching, tenacious and goal-oriented professional; always taking the lead, placing importance on outbound activities and being professionally persistent
- Well-honed discovery skills, asking questions and relating concepts to your prospects in impactful ways
- Passionate about hospitality and technology
- Restaurant management and/or sales experience in the food and beverage industry is strongly preferred but not essential
- Skilled at communicating new points of view to customers that reframe and challenge the way they view their business
- Outstanding negotiating skills that help drive business value during sales engagements
- Passionate about using data and analytics to inform decision-making and build business reasons
- Strong time management and presentation skills and are comfortable with administrative tasks
- Empathetic, team-orientated salesperson who loves to collaborate and grow through learning and feedback as much as you love to close a deal
- Ability to work in an unstructured and forward-thinking environment
