By streamlining these crucial functions, we enable Pharmacists and their teams at Shoppers Drug Mart locations to focus on what is important – the patient! - Conduct product verification on CPAKs and vials prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness of all prescription orders prior to delivery
- Manage facility in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
- Work with various forms of automation, such as Count Assist, Parata max, VBM robots
- Perform Quality Assurance to meet business needs
- Inventory management of narcotics, controlled, and targeted medications
- Assist in store communication via email/fax/phone
- Perform clinical duties with the Patient Contact Centre
- A minimum of 1-2 year of continuous work experience as a pharmacist in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital or Retail)
- Pharmacist registration in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
- Experience with high volume filling environments an asset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
