As a recognition of our commitment to quality and patient safety, we have received the highest distinction of Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada.Job SummaryReporting to the Manager of Oncology Pharmacy, the successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Oncology Team to help support the delivery of anti-cancer treatments to cancer patients. Functions include maintenance of preparing chemotherapy and immunotherapy, performing Best Possible Medication lists, inventory management and other duties as required.Primary Responsibilities

Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques, pharmaceutical arithmetic, pharmaceutical terminology
  • Experience in hospital Pharmacy preferred
  • Experience in handling of hazardous drugs
  • Experience with aseptic technique
  • Experience with Clinical Trials preferred
  • Demonstrated computer skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, communication, and teamwork
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills

Qualifications
  • Licensed by OCP, education obtained from an accredited Pharmacy technician program (CCAPP accredited = Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs)
  • Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technician
  • Completion of GCP certification and Division 5 upon within 3 months of hire
