About the RoleInkBridge Networks is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives on designing, building, and deploying complex and mission-critical network ecosystems. We work with some of the world’s most recognized organizations — including AT&T, Goldman Sachs, and Vodafone — to build infrastructure that simply cannot fail.In this role, you’ll focus on deploying robust, high-performance, and highly available infrastructure across multiple geographic sites — systems that serve millions of users and require zero downtime.If you love solving complex networking challenges, enjoy building systems more than maintaining them, and prefer working in a deep engineering culture, this could be the job for you.What You’ll Do
  • Design, build, and deploy custom network infrastructure for ISPs and global enterprises
  • Architect systems for high availability, load balancing, failover, and multi-site synchronization
  • Work directly with customers to understand their technical challenges and deliver tailored solutions
  • Build the ecosystems around FreeRADIUS — including databases, authentication services, and infrastructure automation
  • Collaborate with a global team in a low-bureaucracy, engineering-driven environment
What We’re Looking ForWe value technical depth, strong communication, and ownership mindset. You’ll need to demonstrate:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with large-scale network deployments and infrastructure automation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Required technologies:
  • SaltStack
  • Terraform
  • Git & GitHub Actions
  • vSphere or similar virtualization platforms (e.g., VirtualBox, Docker)
  • A modern programming language (Python, Lua, etc. — anything but JavaScript)
  • Shell scripting in a Unix environment
  • CI/CD practices
  • General networking knowledge (Layers 2–4)
Nice to have / Desirable knowledge:
  • LDAP (scopes and filters)
  • SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Redis or equivalents
  • RADIUS and FreeRADIUS
  • 802.1X, EAP variants (TLS, TTLS, PEAP, SIM, AKA)
  • VPN and security protocols (IKEv2, IPSEC, WireGuard)
  • X.509 PKI
  • Kafka
  • DHCPv4/DHCPv6
  • VRRP
  • DNS
Note: Experience with FreeRADIUS is a plus, but not required.
