
Accounts Payable Associate

- Review, process and obtain approvals for general vendor invoices prior to payment
- Obtain approvals and signatures on all cheques.
- Ensure the invoices/employee expenses are coded correctly
- Perform credit card and back account reconciliation
- Process Claims requisition for payments
- Address any internal and external Accounts Payable inquiries on a timely basis
- Assist finance team members as required.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
- Minimum 5-10 years Accounts payable experience, preferably gained at a financial service company.
- Knowledge of basic principles of accounting policies and procedures
- Excellent time management and highly detail orientated
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Experience working on an accounting ERP system is an asset.
