Through our network of global development centres, our client invests heavily in technology development, security, and infrastructure to ensure their customers continue to receive award-winning products that underpin a commitment to service excellence.What you will be doing:You will participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.Design and develop Microservices systems with Python, Node.js, React, SQL, etc.Gather and address technical and design requirementsPerform UI tests to optimize performanceDevelop solutions that are scalable, high performing, maintainable and meet high quality standardsParticipate in peer reviews of code to ensure adherence to development standardsTroubleshoot and debug applicationsBuild reusable code and libraries for future useParticipate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums and retrospectivesWork closely with members of the Architecture and DevOps teamsCommunicate and provide updates on assigned tasks while taking ownership of assigned tasksFollow emerging technologies?What you must have:You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.2+ years of Application Development experience2+ years of programming experience in Java/IDE Eclipse/Maven framework2+ years of programming experience in NodeJs/Python1+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCPExperience with CICD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or CodePipelineExperience with Project Management tools such as JIRAKnowledge of financial industry is highly desirableSelf-motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detailStrong sense of responsibility and service minded attitudeWillingness to learn new skills and to contribute to a team culture?centered?on continuous improvementOrganized, accurate and self-motivatedThink creatively and propose options/solutions to challengesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively in a global team environmentSalary Range: CAD $70,000 – $CAD $94,000Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
