- Lead the formal management of complex goods and services contracts across the full contract lifecycle
- Monitor supplier and contract performance to ensure all parties meet contractual commitments
- Identify contract issues early, assess risk, and drive timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers, business groups, and cross-functional teams to support contract success
- Guide stakeholders on sourcing, procurement, and contract management best practices
- Apply strong knowledge of public sector procurement law and supply chain principles to support sound decision-making
- Forecast, track, and report on contract usage to support financial controls, budget alignment, and policy compliance
- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of contract management activities and change initiatives
- Support benefits realization by aligning contract activities with approved business and category strategies
- Identify and implement process improvements that create time savings, cost savings, or stronger business outcomes
- Interpret contract and performance data, identify trends, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders and senior leaders
- Act as a subject matter expert on contract structure, pricing models, scope, and terms and conditions
- Support contractor relationship management by turning challenges into productive, business-focused outcomes
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of contract management frameworks, tools, and practices
- Balance day-to-day execution with longer-term strategic planning across multiple priorities
- Minimum 9 years of contract management experience in a complex business environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience managing contracts and delivering measurable business outcomes
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Experience communicating clearly with a range of audiences, including senior leaders
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and presenting findings
- Demonstrated success influencing internal and external stakeholders, managing risk, and improving value through innovation
- Experience planning and leading change initiatives using project management methods or similar approaches
- Strong knowledge of contract formats, pricing structures, scope development, and contract terms and conditions
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, planning, project management, and organizational skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
