Full-Time | Leadership Role

(10-15%)The OpportunitySRA Staffing is recruiting for a Director of Marketing on behalf of a rapidly growing data intelligence platform that delivers market insights across industries including construction, insurance, financial services, and technology.Our client aggregates and structures large volumes of permit, contractor, licensing, and project activity data to transform complex industry signals into actionable market intelligence.Through modern analytics tools, bulk datasets, and API integrations, the platform enables organizations to identify market opportunities, assess risk, and make smarter strategic decisions.The platform operates as a Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) solution, delivering industry and market intelligence through analytics platforms, bulk datasets, and API integrations.The business has operated for more than a decade and is now expanding the commercial focus of its data platform within a larger global software portfolio.The organization is entering a significant growth phase and is building its marketing leadership capability to support expansion across North America.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the company's full-funnel growth strategy across demand generation, brand positioning, product marketing, and account-based marketing.This role blends strategic go-to-market leadership with hands-on execution. The successful candidate will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Data teams to build a scalable marketing engine that drives pipeline growth and strengthens the company's market position.This position will initially operate as a hands-on individual contributor, responsible for building and executing the company's marketing strategy. As the business grows, the Director of Marketing will have the opportunity to scale and lead a broader marketing team.The company already benefits from meaningful inbound demand and brand visibility within its market. This role will focus on optimizing that demand while expanding new pipeline generation channels.Success in this role will be measured primarily by pipeline growth and revenue impact.This is an opportunity to build marketing within a fast-growing data platform backed by a large global portfolio of vertical software companies, combining startup agility with long-term stability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of the company's full-funnel marketing strategy across inbound marketing, outbound initiatives, lifecycle campaigns, and account-based marketing.Build and scale a predictable demand generation engine that drives marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline.Optimize and expand the company's existing inbound demand while developing new pipeline generation channels.Partner closely with Sales leadership to develop high-impact campaigns that accelerate pipeline growth and improve conversion rates.Own product marketing strategy including segmentation, ideal customer profile development, positioning, and go-to-market messaging across multiple industries.Develop content and thought leadership initiatives that position the company as a leader in data-driven market intelligence and analytics.Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack including CRM, automation tools, analytics platforms, and attribution systems.Collaborate with Product and Data teams to translate complex technical capabilities into clear and compelling market value.Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven marketing tools, automation, and modern marketing technology to improve efficiency and scale demand generation.Build and scale a high-performing marketing function over time while initially operating as a hands-on leader.Establish clear performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and operational processes that connect marketing activity directly to revenue outcomes.Qualifications8+ years of B2B marketing experience with strong exposure to demand generation, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy.Experience marketing SaaS platforms, data products, analytics solutions, or other technical B2B offerings.Demonstrated ability to build pipeline-generating marketing systems that drive measurable revenue impact.Strong analytical mindset with experience using marketing data, dashboards, and performance metrics to guide decision making.Experience working closely with Sales, Product, and executive leadership teams in fast-paced environments.Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically within lean, high-growth organizations.Experience operating in smaller or growth-stage companies where marketing leaders own both strategy and execution.Experience with modern marketing and RevOps platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.Exposure to AI-driven marketing tools and data-driven growth strategies is considered an asset.Abo Interested candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada or the USA without sponsorship or VISA and be able to travel without restriction, possibly internationally.How to Apply & Fair Hiring Notice
